The GLORIA awards night is a FUN event. Are no boring speeches – we promise!
Tell everyone you know to get online to nominate the quote that have annoyed/angered/outraged/bemused them in 2010/11.
A full list of nominees will be made available to vote on closer to the 2011 awards night on the 20th of May. A “boo-off” at the awards dinner will decide the winner of the GLORIA in each category. The judges determination will be final.
We will endeavour to include all nominated comments however the GLORIAs organisers will make the final determination on the quotes that will make the shortlist.
The GLORIAs are an annual event that shines the light on outrageous, ignorant and ridiculous comments made about our GLBTI citizens every day. Comments can be nominated throughout the year on this website.
The GLORIA's are hosted by Penny Sharpe MLC.
